FROM THE FIRST TO THE THIRD DAY is our 2024 Easter wknd. gatherings.
The FIRST DAY (3/29) is our Good Friday service (6:30 PM @ JEMS parking lot map)
The SECOND DAY (3/30) is our night of creative testimonies (6 PM @ SEKRIT STUDIOS, 923 E 3rd St, Suite 111, Los Angeles, CA 90013)
The THIRD DAY (3/31) is our Easter Sunday services (9:30 AM @ JEMS map) + East West Bank (3 PM map)
SECOND DAY PROJECT GUIDELINES: Each participant will have 5 – 7 min. to share a “creative testimony” of how you have lived by faith amidst the themes (doubt / struggle / questioning / failure). The creative testimony must use a scripture and convey a story be based on a real-life story/experience from your life. It must use an original creative vehicle (ex. spoken word / fashion / graphic arts / dance / music / vid / photography / etc.).
Steps:
#1.) chose a SECOND DAY theme (doubt/struggle/questioning/failure) that best relates to the story you want to tell from your life and your journey with Jesus.
#2.) select a scripture that explains your theme.
#3.) identify a creative vehicle to express your theme.
#4.) determine how you will best creatively express your theme vs. verbally explain within the 5 – 7 min. timeframe.
#5.) communicate your chosen theme/creative vehicle to cynthia@citybible.church as soon as you have decided
#6.) Non-live submissions under the project guidelines will also be accepted and be displayed the night of as an alternative option)
